Hanan's covered in polka dots!

Sebenarnya, she's got a terrible rash, possibly measles or German measles. At first I thought she had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics because she also had a bit of diarrhea. But when we went for a second check up, the doctor said it's most likely measles.

See, sungguh cepat doctor prescribe antibiotics. Anyway, Hanan's alright after the fever went away which she had for 3 days. She's her usual self, asik nak tatih aje. I bet she's going to start walking soon. We're just waiting for her to start crawling aje...dulu bolehla kata she's heavy tu lah tak nak crawl..tapi now she's slimmed down. She's only 7.5 kg aja at 8 months, slim la tu, yet when we put her on the floor, mulut aja bising, badan tak gerak-gerak :)

Signs and Symptoms
After an incubation period of 14-21 days, the primary symptom of rubella virus infection is the appearance of a rash on the face which spreads to the trunk and limbs and usually fades after three days.

Other symptoms include low grade fever, swollen glands (post cervical lymphadenopathy), joint pains, headache, conjunctivitis. The swollen glands or lymph nodes can persist for up to a week and the fever rarely rises above 38 oC (100.4 oF). The rash disappears after a few days with no staining or peeling of the skin. Forchheimer's sign occurs in 20% of cases, and is characterized by small, red papules on the area of the soft palate.
